TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers have been “Red Hot” on their current road trip, they started by sweeping two games at Gillette then took two at Rock Springs Saturday 13-2 and 13-6, Sunday they swept the Cheyenne Hawks 15-11 and 12-8 to remain unbeaten in league play.
They stand at 37-19 and will close out the road trip tonight with games at Post 6 in Cheyenne.
The Wyoming Double “AA” American Legion state tournament opens on the 24th in Jackson.
The Sheridan Jets host the single “A” tournament starting a week from today.
BRONC FOOTBALL MINI CAMP – The Sheridan Bronc football program is holding their “Little Bronc” and team mini camp over the next three evenings, the “Little Bronc” camp will run from 5:00-6:00 today through Wednesday and the Broncs will have three sessions of light workouts following.
Little Bronc camp costs 15 dollars per camper they will take walk up registration starting at 4:15, here’s Broncs Head coach Jeff Mowry.
HOMER SCOTT STADIUM – The new turf is on the field and the new lights are ready to go as well at the high school and Sheridan high school Activities Director Casey Garnhart says the new turf is the next generation.
The new lighting system will enhance the look and safety at the stadium as well.
ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies took two out of three from the New York Yankees winning 8-7 in 11 innings Sunday, they are off today and open a home series with Houston tomorrow night, first pitch at 6:40 you can hear the Rockies on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
