2023 WYO Rodeo Week Starts Tuesday / Troopers hit the Road to Close out the Regular Season / Rockies end the First Half With a Loss

2023 SHERIDAN WYO RODEO WEEK – Sheridan WYO Rodeo week is ready to begin, Sheridan Media will be downtown Friday with our live rodeo broadcasts starting at 6:00 am.

Steer roping slack starts Tuesday morning at 7:00 and the Boot kickoff will take place in Whitney Commons starting at 5:00 pm.

Wednesday morning slack begins at 9:00 am and will run all day, the first performance of this year’s WYO will start Wednesday night at 7:00.

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers regular season will end with four league double headers on the road, they start Thursday with games in Gillette, then at Rock Springs Saturday then to Cheyenne for games with the Hawks and Sixers on Sunday and Monday. T

The Wyoming state double “AA” tournament opens on the 24th in Jackson.

LOCAL GOLF – Sheridan high school graduate Sam Spielman is one of seven Wyoming players competing this week in the High School golf National Championships in Frisco, Texas the first round starts today.

ROCKIES BASEBALL -The Colorado Rockies lost 1-0 at San Francisco Sunday to finish up the first half of the MLB season, the All-Star break begins today, the Rockies will resume their schedule at home Friday opening a three game series with the New York Yankees.
