Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

2023 CNFR – The 2023 College National Finals Rodeo got underway Sunday at the Ford Wyoming center in Casper. Sheridan college has three cowboys who will try to win a championship belt buckle and saddle.

Clancy Glenn and Joseph Priebe are competing in the Saddle Bronc event, while Wyatt Phelps will try to be the college national champ in Bull riding.

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers blasted their way through a tournament in Laramie going 4-0 and hammering each opponent.

They scored 49 runs in four games and gave only two total runs with two shut outs.

They beat Douglas 12-1, the Westco Zephyers from Colorado 11-0, Castle Rock, Colorado 13-1 and finished up the weekend Sunday with a 13-0 shut of Rock Springs.

Next home games for the Troops will be tomorrow and Wednesday when they have back to back double headers with the Rapid City Expos, Saturday they will open league play hosting two with Casper.
