Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers swept the Billings Expos Saturday and split two in Billings Sunday with the Billings Royals, the Troops took game one 7-4 and dropped the second game 11-4.

The Troopers will be on the road for a tournament during the Memorial Day weekend in Gillette, their next home date is Saturday June 3rd when they host a double header with Cody.

STATE TRACK – The Wyoming high school state track and field championships wrapped up Saturday Sheridan Media’s Kevin Koile has our state championship wrap up.

STATE SOCCER – The Sheridan Broncs finished 3rd at the state soccer championships with a 2-1 win over Casper Kelly Walsh Saturday.

The Lady Broncs lost 3-0 in the consolation final against Laramie.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies lost at the Texas Rangers 13-3 Sunday, the Rox are back at home tonight to open a series with Miami first pitch is at 6:40, you can hear the Rockies this season on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
