Bronc Swimmers Complete Historic Season / 1A / 2A Regional Hoops Start Thursday / Pokes v Aggies Tonight

BRONCS SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers finished 3rd at the 4A state swimming and diving championships. It was the teams best finish to a season since 1986 and Head coach Brent Moore says the Broncs put in a lot of hard work to make it happen.

And moving ahead Moore says this result will go a long way to keeping this winning momentum going.

STATE WRESTLING / NORDIC SKIING – The all class Wyoming state wrestling championships get underway Friday in Casper and the state Nordic ski championships will start Friday in Jackson and with poor weather and travel conditions expected to be rough Sheridan high school is sending the wrestlers and the Nordic skiers to their meets today.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Sheridan high school basketball teams close out the regular season Friday with road games at Natrona county.

1A / 2A REGIONAL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS – The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams open regional tournament play Thursday at Sundance high school

In the girls bracket Big Horn opens with Lingle-Fort Laramie and the Tongue River Lady Eagles take on Burns, in the boys bracket the Rams play Niobrara county and the Eagles face Burns.

The Arvada / Clearmont Lady Panthers open their regional tournament Thursday against Rock River, the A/C boys did not qualify for the regional tournament.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks host two games this weekend with the Yellowstone Quake.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys host Utah state tonight, you can hear the game on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM pregame is set for 6:30 with the tip at 7:00.
