Funeral services for Nick Thompson, 20 year old Buffalo resident who died in a tragic accident in Buffalo, will be held Saturday, January 23rd at 2:00 from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Pastor Donnie Holt officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until noon. Interment will be in Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside services to follow the funeral. Donations in Nick’s memory may be made to the St. Francis Animal Shelter in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo. Online condolences may be made at www.harnessfuneralhome.com
Nicholas Jade Thompson was born on October 1, 2000 in Buffalo to Ashley Thompson and Jessica Popp. His grandparents, Sonny and Melody Thompson became his guardians when he was under a year old and they raised him as their son. Nick went to Buffalo schools and graduated from Buffalo High School with the class of 2020. When he was still in high school he worked at Winchester Steak house and later took a job with Big Horn Tire where he was working at the time of his death.
Nick enjoyed camping in the mountains, his animals and spending time with his friends. He is survived by his parents Ashley Thompson and Jessica Popp; his paternal grandparents and guardians, Sonny and Melody Thompson of Buffalo; one sister Gabrielle Price of Texas; two uncles Steve Swett and his wife Alice of Buffalo and Victor Swett and his wife Alisson of Butte, Montana; several nieces, nephews and several cousins.
