Rosemary Bumbaca Pettit, 89, of Sheridan, Wyoming, passed away on August 25, 2020, at her home in Coronado, California. She was born to Pete and Mary Bumbaca in Sheridan Wyoming on April 28, 1931.
Rosemary was born in Sheridan, Wyoming to Pete and Mary Bumbaca. She went to school in Sheridan. She married Dr. Paul D Pettit on January 20, 1951, in Omaha, Nebraska. She worked for her husband’s office doing the billing until he retired. She was the founding president of F.O.C.U.S. (Friends of Children United Society) and a member of C-GULLS at the Coronado Cays Yacht Club. She had her California Certification for Interior Design and she modeled in her earlier years.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her father and mother, Pete and Mary Bumbaca, her brother Jimmy Bumbaca, her sister, Helen Hafey, and her husband Dr. Paul D. Pettit.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Dr. Paul Pettit(Katie) of Jacksonville, FL, Susan Pettit of Coronado, Ca, and Rosemary Pettit(Greg) of Glendale, AZ.
Her 10 grandchildren, Heather, Rosemary, Stephen, Christina, Meredith, Colleen, Paul, Bonnie, Lacey, and Karrie-Lynn and 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild on the way. Her great-grandchildren Paul and Jace Pettit (sons of Heather) will greatly miss their nona.
A Viewing will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Kane Funeral Home with a Graveside Service at 10:00 in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery
