Patricia Marie Jones

Patricia Marie Jones, known as Pat, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024, at

Green House Living in Sheridan, Wyoming. Pat was born on March 23, 1932, to Clarence

and Maude Michael in Whittier, California. From there, her family moved to Mojave, where she enjoyed walking between home and her father’s gas station with her dog, Rusty. After high school, she moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she met and then married John Wesley Jones, better known as Johnny. Pat enjoyed china painting, her fiber arts group Les Cadeaux, a decade’s lasting French study group, the Saturday Lunch Bunch, and the Albuquerque Country Club ladies’ golf group. Pat and Johnny enjoyed 47 years of marriage until his death in 1997. She remained in Albuquerque, during which time she lived with her faithful dog, Ella, and they enjoyed many walks around their neighborhood, as well as spending plenty of time relaxing together on the couch. In 2019, Pat moved once more to spend her remaining years close to her daughter, Linda Jones Mullinax in Sheridan, Wyoming.

While she was preceded in death by her stepson Charlie Jones and granddaughter Lisa Marie Jones, she is survived by her daughter Linda Jones Mullinax (Robert), grandson Allen Munson Tonkin III, and daughter Teresa Jones. Also surviving her are her stepdaughter Kay Shollenbarger, stepson John Carroll Jones and grandchildren Leanne Poggio, Kim Shollenbarger, Christa Tricario (Andrew), Stephanie Tallant (Brent), Ryan Jones (Cassandra), and Tori Peters (Chris).

Cremation has taken place, and private services are pending.
