Emily Perkins

Emily Frances Perkins, 81, passed away on April 24, 2020, under
hospice care in her home located in Sheridan Wyoming. There will
be a private family viewing at the Champion Funeral Home in
Sheridan Wyoming on 4-28-2020. Burial will follow the funeral at
Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Emily was born on January 27, 1939
in Suwanee Georgia to Lovie Franklin Humphrey and Ducle Allene
Humphrey.

Emily graduated from John J. Pershing High School in Detroit
Michigan. She was married to Bill Dee Perkins on Feb 14, 1957, and
they were married for 36 years and worked as a telephone operator
for AT&T a number of years taught Sunday school at Calvary
Baptist Church in Riverton Wyoming worked at the YMCA daycare
for 10 years, enjoyed planting vegetables in her garden and was a
fabulous mother to her five children.

Emily is survived by her brother AW Humphrey and her children, Billy Dee Perkins, Robert Lee Perkins, Jason Glen Perkins, Justin Lynn Perkins, Juliana Carol Perkins, 12 Grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren and other family and friends. Emily is preceded in
death by her siblings Hazel, Vernell, Alvin, Bob, Reg, and Grandson Jonathon Lee Perkins.
