Mary Ann Fiedor

Mary Ann (Kukuchka) Fiedor, age 80, was carried home by the angels on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
Mary Ann was born to Pearl and Paul Kukuchka on June 9, 1943, in Sheridan, Wyoming. She attended school in Ranchester and graduated high school in 1961.
After high school, she went on to beauty school in Billings, Montana. She spent 58 years doing hair starting her career with her Aunt Estelle in Cody, Wyoming. On July 24, 1965, she married John Fiedor at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheridan, Wyoming. In 1990 John left this world too early leaving Mary Ann a widow with 2 sons, Paul John (PJ) and Michael Scott Fiedor.
Mary Ann, being a strong-willed woman, stayed courageous raising her boys and continuing her career in hair styling. She spent those years surrounded by her family and friends. She especially enjoyed traveling with her son Mike as he rodeoed throughout the state. She loved PBR and enjoyed the PBR finals in Vegas.
She was a member of the Homemaker’s Club, CCW at Holy Name Church, and Akcita Win. She valued being a member of Holy Name Catholic Church with a strong affiliation to St. Edmunds, her home parish.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her father, Paul Kukuchka; her husband John Fiedor; and her son Paul John Fiedor. She is survived by her beloved son Michael Scott Fiedor, her mother Pearl (Newlon) Kukuchka age 101; her special aunt Estelle (Newlon) Wright; her sister Roxie (Steve) Novotny; and her brother Edmund (Laurie) Kukuchka.
Mary Ann’s last months were spent at Cascade Assisted Living. She truly loved all her friends who were there playing cards and bingo with her. She especially loved her caretakers who were true angels to her.
A Rosary is at 9:15 A.M., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Glenn Whewell officiating, followed by the inurnment in the Elks Section of the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.

My Heart goes out to the family of Mary Ann Fiedor. She was wonderful person, and I am so glad to have meet her. Rest in Peace my friend.

My memories of Mary Ann go way back to my high school years. She was very special and her love for her family and friends go far beyond what we may think! She always thought of others and worked as a hairdresser for many years beyond what she probably should of! May she Rest In Peace with her Lord,
