It is with great sadness that the family of Lee Morgareidge announced her passing on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the age of 68 after a long illness. Lee will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years Bill, children Mike (Casi) Morgareidge, and Jeff Morgareidge, siblings John (Kathy) Podgornik and Roberta Podgornik Cooley, grandchildren Alexis (Matt) and Addy, nieces Natasha (great nephew Merrick) and Jessica, as well as other family and friends.

Lee is preceded in death by her parents Edd and Mary, brother Jim, Aunt Rose, and Uncle Al.

The most important things in Lee’s life were her grandchildren. Lee dedicated herself to over 50 years of service to Sheridan Memorial Hospital in the pharmacy and dietary service. Lee was well known for her cooking ability. Lee loved spending time with her family, her beloved Dalmatians (Specky and Scooter), and her two horses (Bucky and Browny). Lee loved visiting the lakes (Fort Peck was her favorite) and fishing. She also loved camping in the Big Horn Mountains with her family. Bowling with friends was a big part of her life, she went to tournaments over the years with her bowling leagues.

A Celebration Of Life will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Stephen Anderson officiating. Following the service there will be a reception at the church. Inurnment will then take place in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter, 84 East Ridge Rd, Sheridan, WY 82801.

Sorry to see that Lee passed away. I did not know she was ill and had not seen her for a while. I met her and her mother many years ago when I worked at the hospital. She was always nice to visit with and a good cook. Prayers are for the family.

I had the pleasure of working with Lee for 40 plus years , I have never worked with a more driven employee, her smile was contagious!!! She never spoke bad of anyone . 50 years she gave her life to that hospital, yet I believe she was NEVER truly recognized for all she gave to the hospital, SHAME ON THEM . SAD !!! Lee you will never be forgotten by those who worked with you day in and day out , we saw the beauty in you . May you rest in peace . To your family. my heart is with you all
