Shane Magestro

Shane Bryant Magestro was born on May 29th, 1972, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Marlene Laemmerhirt and Phillip Magestro. He was the youngest of three children. When Shane was two, his family moved to Huntington Beach, California, where he grew up. In his early twenties, Shane moved to Wyoming, where he would have three children. He loved his children, and they were his source of great pride and happiness. Nothing made him happier than his children.

Shane was incredibly hard-working and never thought a job was beneath him. His perseverance allowed him to overcome many obstacles throughout his life. He never gave up and kept his faith through every challenge. 

In his free time, Shane loved listening to music, petting cats, and going to the gym. Shane loved to thrift and find gifts for people. He enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend, Tory, and having a partner to do life with. 

Shane was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by sister Lynn Meyer and brother Chuck Meyer; children Alyssa (Ryan) McHoes, Jaden (Morgan) McHoes, and Taylor Magestro; grandchild Winsor; and godmother June Lauer.  Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery, Juniper Heights section, block A with Pastor Kevin Jones officiating. A reception will immediately follow at Champion Funeral Home Chapel. Champion Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements. Online condolences may be written at www.championfh.com.
