Funeral services for Barbara Royal, 84-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away Thursday at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo will be held Thursday, June 15th at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Buffalo with Pablo Velasquez officiating.  The interment will be at a later date. Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to the Amie Holt Care Center at 497 W. Lott Street in Buffalo, Wyoming 82834.  Online condolences may be made at www.harnessfuneralhome.com.

Barbara Ann Royal was born on August 8, 1938, in Tulare, California to Thomas and Esther Royal.  She grew up and went to school in the Redding, California area and attended Shasta College in Redding where she became a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. She was married in the 1960s to Clifford Davis and they made their home in Porterville, California. They were divorced in 1972 and Barbara continued living in California and raised 4 children working as a CNA at Mercy Hospital in Redding. She moved with her family to Happy Camp, Anderson, and Fortuna, California.  In 2013 she moved to Buffalo where she lived until her death. She lived for the last two years at Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo.

Barbara enjoyed doing ceramics at the Buffalo Senior Center and spending time with her friends. She was an avid seamstress and during college, she made stage costumes for Shasta College and repertory theaters. She was a card shark and loved game nights with friends. She is survived by two sons, Paul Davis of Port Orchard, Washington, and Donald Davis of Redding, California; two daughters Victoria Phillips of Buffalo, Wyoming; and Rhonda Bartee and her husband Noah of Redding. She was preceded in death by her parents and her lifelong friend of over 50 years Vanda Williams.
