Ed Archer

Graveside services for Ed Archer 85 year old Buffalo resident who passed away in the Worland Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Worland, Wyoming on March 24th will be held in Willow Grove Cemetery at a later date. Edward Rex Archer was born on April 9, 1937, in Longmont, Colorado he grew up and went to school in Longmont and graduated from Longmont High School with the class of 1955. After high school, he went to Electrician School and worked as a Journeyman Electrician with Local 68 in Denver and became a licensed electrician. He was married to Margaret Hacker in 1956 and they lived in Brownsville, Colorado until they divorced in 1975. He was married to Wanda Garner in 1975 in Cheyenne, Wyoming and they lived the majority of those 48 years in Buffalo, Wyoming.
Ed was an avid horseshoe player and was the Wyoming State Horseshoe Pitching Association Secretary. He is survived by his wife Wanda Archer of Worland; three sons, Rex Archer of Platteville, Colorado, Brett Archer and his wife Jody of Broomfield, Colorado and Bart Archer and his wife Robbie of Casper, Wyoming; One stepson Leslie Hornbaker and his wife Melissa of Longmont, Colorado; one daughter Jeaninne Harding and her husband Barry of Greeley, Colorado; one stepdaughter, Linda Ingalls and her husband Tom of Rapid City, South Dakota; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, and a stepson.
