David Schwabauer

David Schwabauer passed away on November 25, 2022, at his home, at the age of 63.

David was born August 21, 1959, the fourth child and only son of David and Edna Schwabauer. He attended school in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1978.

He worked for many years at WYDOT in Gillette and Sheridan. He was the District Traffic Tech in Sheridan until his retirement.

The joy of David’s life was his sons Seth and Spencer. They vacationed each summer, visiting many interesting places. Spencer and his dad went deep-sea fishing in Cabo and brought back some very nice trophies. Seth enjoyed the trips to Las Vegas.

David was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons Seth and Spencer of Sheridan and 3 lovely older sisters. Debra Clemens, Sheridan, Sherry Schwabauer, Pleasanton, Texas, and Cindy (Brad) Huson of San Antonio, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 10:00 AM in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
