Yellowstone NP Clearing Roads For Upcoming Summer 2022 Season

Snowmobiling season is almost over in Yellowstone National Park, and soon it will be time to allow motor vehicles back in.
The park has already started to clear roads between Mammoth Hot Springs and Norris, as well as Norris to Madison and Norris to Canyon Village, thus they are no longer open to snowmobile travel.
This coming Sunday (March 13th ) at 9pm, the roads will close from Canyon Village to Fishing Bridge, and all other groomed roads will close on Tuesday of next week (March 15th).
The park has scheduled opening the west entrance to motor vehicle traffic on April 15th, although not all roads within the park will be open at that time.
The east entrance is scheduled to open on May 6th, the south entrance on May 13th.
Dunraven Pass and the Beartooth Highway are scheduled to open on May 27th.
Any roads that open are subject to a short term re-closure, if weather and road conditions deteriorate.
The roads that connect the north to the northeast entrance are open to motor vehicle traffic year-round.
