Sheridan County Resident Deaths Attributed to COVID-19

The Wyoming Department of Health on Tuesday confirmed the deaths of two Sheridan County residents attributed to COVID-19. Two older adult women died earlier this month. Both were hospitalized and neither was not known to have had health conditions known to put people at higher risk of severe illness. This brings the total number of Sheridan County resident deaths to 74 since the pandemic began in March of 2020. Since February 1, the Department of Health has announced the death of 11 Sheridan County residents attributed to the virus.

Sheridan County has added three lab confirmed cases over the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of lab confirmed cases since the pandemic began to 6009. Currently, there are 25 active cases in Sheridan County and three residents hospitalized battling the virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention list Sheridan County’s level of community transmission as HIGH.
