Sheridan County Agrees to Storage Unit for Equipment

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have voted to approve and accept a Lease Agreement with Second Chance, LLC for a storage building to house county-owned equipment.
County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller explains further.
Obermueller said there is also a solar trailer to power the emergency communications trailer; two electronic signs; and election storage cages that the county just has no space to store.
She said the county is “busting at the seams” and this storage building will provide an enclosed, heated space for the equipment while a long-term solution is looked into.
The lease agreement is for two years at $1,800 per month.
