JCHC Chief of Staff Commends Staff During Recent COVID Spike

Dr. Ryan Ludwig, Chief of Staff at the Johnson County Healthcare Center, in his recent report to the hospital board, praised the staff for their hard work and “stepping up” during the current COVID situation.

He said he was pleased to see the clinic didn’t cancel walk-in appointments during the last few weeks, and continued to provide services for the community due to everyone going above and beyond.

Ludwig said the Emergency Room has been a challenge because in addition to the upswing in COVID patients, they are still having to deal with the normal ER issues.

He hopes they are at a point now where they will see a drop off in COVID cases.
