Sheridan YMCA Offering Wellness Programs

The Sheridan County YMCA is now offering corporate and member wellness programs that include body scans, health screenings and more.

Executive Director Liz Cassiday, as a recent guest on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, spoke about the body scan machine at the “Y.”

Cassiday said the corporate program with the body scans, wellness coaching, physical health assessment, and setting up employees with “Y” memberships, can keep company’s workforces healthier and possibly reduce health insurance premiums.

Cassiday said there are free programs available at the “Y” and scholarships to get people in the doors that may think they can’t afford it.
