City of Buffalo Retains Kirven as Attorney

The City of Buffalo will retain Ben Kirven as the city attorney.

He was sworn into the office during a ceremony after the city council voted to re-appoint him during their meeting Tuesday evening.

The council also voted to designate the Buffalo Bulletin as the city’s official newspaper, and to designate ANB Bank, the Bank of Buffalo, First Interstate Bank of Commerce, First Northern Bank, WYO-STAR Investment Pool, and Moreton Asset Management as the official depositories for the city.

Mayor Shane Schrader said City Clerk/ Treasurer Julie Silbernagel will be giving financial disclosure letters to the council to be filled out and returned to the city.
