News ReleaseSome of the main roads within Grand Teton National Park are open for the winter, but not to motor vehicle travel.
Teton Park Road, Moose-Wilson Road and Signal Mountain Road are now open to cross-country skiers, skate skiers, snowshoeing, and walkers.
A 14-mile section of Teton Park Road will be groomed on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays until mid-March depending on snow and weather conditions.
Grooming is made possible through the financial support of the Grand Teton National Park Foundation and a grant from the Federal Administration Recreational Trails Program.
Although there is limited motor vehicle usage within the park, visitors still have to pay entrance fees to get in.
A pay at the pump gasoline station is available at the Signal Mountain Lodge Parking Area.
