Grand Teton NP Roads Open For Winter Recreational Use

Some of the main roads within Grand Teton National Park are open for the winter, but not to motor vehicle travel.

Teton Park Road, Moose-Wilson Road and Signal Mountain Road are now open to cross-country skiers, skate skiers, snowshoeing, and walkers.

A 14-mile section of Teton Park Road will be groomed on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays until mid-March depending on snow and weather conditions.

Grooming is made possible through the financial support of the Grand Teton National Park Foundation and a grant from the Federal Administration Recreational Trails Program.

Although there is limited motor vehicle usage within the park, visitors still have to pay entrance fees to get in.

A pay at the pump gasoline station is available at the Signal Mountain Lodge Parking Area.
