Sheridan College Choirs invite public to fill holiday season with music
The Sheridan College of the Arts will present the Sheridan College Choirs at 7 p.m. on Dec. 7, at Kinnison Hall in the Whitney Center for the Arts.
The choral works will be presented by the Collegiate Chorale and the Sheridan College Chamber Choir.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Director of Choirs and Vocal Studies Dr. Robert Psurny told listeners that the concert is not only for holiday music lovers.
According to Psurny, both choirs are classes at the Sheridan College of the Arts with the Collegiate Chorale meeting weekly to rehearse and the Sheridan College Chamber Choir meeting three times a week. Time is spent not only on class work and rehearsal but creative freedom for the choir to develop music organically.
