Sheridan County Sets Rules for Indigent Burials

A Resolution has been passed by the Sheridan County Commission that adopted the Rules Governing Indigent Burial Payments in the county.

County Administrator Renee Obermueller said there has been an informal agreement in the past, but the resolution sets those rules and the agreement down for for all parties’ benefit.

According to discussions, the county’s current agreement has them paying $2,295 per indigent burial.
