Legislature to Livestream JAC Budget Hearings

The Wyoming Legislature’s Joint Appropriations Committee will begin their agency budget hearings on Wednesday, December 1. The budget hearings will be livestreamed on the Wyoming Legislature’s YouTube channel. The budget hearings and mark-up  will take place December 1 through the 3, December 6 and 7, December 13 through the 17 and January 10 through the 21. According to the Wyoming Legislative Service Office, each state agency or department will present their budget to the Joint Appropriations Committee during December and January and once the hearings are complete, the JAC will then work the budgets and approve, deny or modify each request. The full Legislature will then debate and approve the biennial budget during the 2022 Budget Session, which will convene in Cheyenne on February 14.
