Aaron PalmerClaudia Todd has been appointed to fill and serve out a vacant position on the Johnson County Tourism Association Board.
County Commission Chairman Bill Novotny explained why there was a need to fill the vacant position.
Novotny explained that the tourism board normally does the majority of their work and planning during the winter months to then carry out their activities during the following summer, so they had asked the commission to fill the vacancy as soon as possible.
