Comment Period Still Open for CWD Plan

The Chronic Wasting Disease Working Group developed a Draft Management Plan last year and held a series of public meetings to collect feedback from the residents of Wyoming. Although Sheridan’s public meeting opportunity has come and gone, there is still time to make comments on the document according to Wyoming Game and Fish Department Sheridan Region Public Information Specialist Tina Schmidt. 

Schmidt also wanted to extend a thank you to all those who voluntarily submitted samples from their harvest for CWD testing in 2019. Feedback can be given on the plan through Wednesday. To view the draft and make comments, follow this link https://wgfd.wyo.gov/get-involved/cwd-working-group .
