Sheridan County Gets ‘Clean’ Audit
Sheridan County government received a “clean” audit report and the county commission accepted the findings of the auditors at their meeting this week.
The report, prepared by Porter, Muirhead, Cornia, and Howard of Casper, was for the end-of-year audit for fiscal year 2019 which ended June 30th.
County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller said this year’s clean audit was one of many consecutive audits.
Commissioner Tom Ringley thanked Obermueller, staff, and the elected officials for the latest clean audit report, saying “ it’s quite amazing that excellence is routine.”
The commission accepted the results of the 2019 financial and compliance report.
