Huntington Subdivision Approved With Variances

The Sheridan City Council this week approved a resolution for the Huntington Minor Subdivision,  a request to replat 16,098 square feet from two lots and a portion of a vacated alley into two lots, located mid-block on Huntington Street between Ash Avenue and Linden Avenue. Prior to the Council’s vote on the resolution, City Community Development Director Wade Sanner explained the variances that were part of the subdivision request.

Sanner said the property is zoned R-1 and surrounding properties are single-family homes zoned R-1.  The three properties to the west contain three mobile homes, which are legal non-conforming in the R-1 zoned district. The Council approved the resolution for the subdivision.
