The future of the energy industry in Wyoming will be the topic of two upcoming presentations by experts with the University of Wyoming. UW’s Saturday University program will hold the first presentation on Thursday, January 23 in Pinedale, and the second on Saturday, January 25 in Rock Springs. The presentations entitled “A Low-Carbon Future for Wyoming Fossil Fuels?” will feature three experts from the UW’s School of Energy Resources, who will provide an overview to shape a community discussion about what the coming energy transition means for Wyoming.

The event in Pinedale will take place at the Sublette County Public Library at 6 pm. The presentation in Rock Springs is scheduled to take place at Western Wyoming Community College in room 1302 at 9 am. The Saturday U program, in its 13th year, is a collaborative program that connects professors from the UW and the State’s community colleges with lifelong learners.
