The Sheridan City Council met for their first regularly scheduled business meeting of the month Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
A transfer of ownership of a retail liquor license from Little Goose Liquors to 307 Horse Racing was tabled by the Council following a public hearing on the matter. City Councilman Steve Brantz.
City Public Works Director Lane Thompson provided an update on the ongoing tree branch cleanup that began October 20 and will continue for the next couple of weeks in response to last month’s snowstorm that caused extensive damage to trees throughout Sheridan.
The Council also approved a resolution establishing the process for selecting the recipient of the new retail liquor license the City received due to an increase in population that was reported in the 2020 Census.
