Barrasso to Ambassador to China Nominee: ‘We Must Hold China Accountable’
The U.S. Senate Committee on Foriegn Relations held Nicholas Burns’ confirmation hearing Wednesday. Burns is President Biden’s nominee to be the next U.S. ambassador to China. During the hearing, U.S. Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming questioned Burns on the threats the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) poses to U.S national security and how we can hold the CCP accountable for their dangerous behavior.
If confirmed, Burns would fill the ambassador role that has been vacant for the past year.

Yes, john, the CCP is a threat to the world, and the US has probably already become one of its colonies. But we have more pressing issues at home created by the obama/biden administration that are too numerous to list. In light of the NIH revelations that dr. fauci lied to congress, US citizens, and the media about the gain of function research at the Wuhan China lab, you should get together with Dr. Paul and discuss prison time for the man. What else has this egomaniac lied about? Perhaps you, and the rest of the inert senate repubs could get going on that, and give a little cred to what passes as the current repub party. I wont be holding my breath.

Another public relations effort to pander, divert, and obscure. The intent is to avoid Dr. John’s and the chest thumping repubs failure to acknowledge the attack on the US capitol or then investigate the treason involved. A coincidence this PR release about foreign enemeies is out as a congressional committee is digging up information behind the capitol attack? He and his colleagues ignore their failure to keep the oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;”. Ok, China is a threat, as was and is Russia, but the repubs are threatening the US’s experiment in self governing from within. The repubs are working to compromise free and fair elections, aiming to install the more common form of government structure – a strong man supported by money with minions who bully and terrorize domestic opposition. Dr. John and the repubs are thereby doing those foreign enemies’ work, and there’s a good reason they are not alarmed by the domestic, but only foreign threats. Dr John’s motive is not for good of the country, but self-serving interest in power, money and status.

good grief…you mean our supposedly highly intelligent democrat and republican elected leaders just figured out what China is now capable of?…after the USA has been China’s best customer for decades?…the stupidity is astounding…appears there’s no hope folks…sad to say it
