UW Council Seeks Proposals for Carbon Capture

The University of Wyoming Energy Resources Council is seeking proposals from research and technology providers and other interested entities regarding the design and construction of a pilot project that will use advanced coal based generation technology that captures at least three quarters of carbon emissions. The Council did this through the School of Energy Resources according to UW Vice President for Communications and Marketing Chad Baldwin.
Baldwin said that the Wyoming Legislature appropriated $5 million for the program during the session last year. Final submissions of proposals are due at the end of the day on February 14.
