Buffalo Mayor Discusses Tech Park

Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader is nearing the end of his first year in office, and he sat down with Sheridan Media to reflect on his accomplishments, and what he feels he needs to continue improving upon.

Mayor Schrader talked about Buffalo’s tech park, which has appeared to be “on hold” for quite some time, but he said nothing could be further from the truth.

A lot of work has already been done, and the rest will be concluded in the

spring.

The Buffalo Business Park is a roughly 140-acre property that will be a magnet for economic development once the infrastructure and utilities are installed.

Mayor Schrader said there has been interest in the business park from prospective companies.

The City of Buffalo was awarded an $800,000 Community Readiness Grant from the Wyoming Business Council in 2019, after being awarded $1 million by the SLIB in January of 2018 for the project.
