Johnson County Healthcare Center Chief of Staff Dr. Ryan Ludwig, in his report to the hospital board Wednesday, said the hospital has been busy, as well as the clinic and COVID testing center due to the recent COVID spike.

Dr. Ludwig also noted that Dr. Mark Schueler will be leaving the clinic and Dr. Erica Rinker will be taking over his duties there.

The transition will begin in October.

Dr. Ludwig said the healthcare center is busy but things are going well and he had no major issues to report.
