Food Group Feeds a Need

The recent FILL THE BUS campaign at Albertsons brought together community minded shoppers and volunteers as well as High School students that not only volunteered for the cause but in one case need the extra help the Food Group provides.

Chloe attends Sheridan High School and showed up at Albertsons last Saturday to help encourage shoppers to donate during the event.  And she has compelling reason to be thankful for The Food Group, because Chloe is homeless.

Chloe said she wanted to volunteer to help because she needs The Food Group almost every day.

      You can donate food or cash to The Food Group at the next FILL THE BUS event this Saturday at Ridley’s Family Market on Coffeen.  The event will be held from 10am to 2pm and is sponsored by Eliason Financial and ERA Carroll Realty.  You can find a list of items The Food Group needs at sheridanmedia.com.
