Aaron PalmerThe Buffalo City Council approved requests associated with next week’s Buffalo High School Homecoming activities on Monday, October 4th.
The requests were brought before the council by City Attorney Ben Kirven, representing the BHS students organizing the activities.
A request for a street closure on Main Street from Angus Street north to Benteen Street was approved for the annual Homecoming Parade at 6:30pm.
Also requested was a street closure on East Fetterman Street from Main Street to the alley at Crazy Woman Square from 5 to 8pm for the school’s Homecoming Barbecue.
The council also approved a request from the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce for a street closure on Main Street from Angus to Fort Street on Friday, October 29th from 4 to 6pm for the annual Monster March.
