Aaron PalmerA Resolution that would have vacated a section of property in the county has been rejected by the Sheridan County Commission.
The Resolution would have vacated a 50-foot wide public right-of-way known as 14th Street between Blocks 51 and 52 within the Downers Addition in Sheridan County.
Petitioners had approached the county requesting them to vacate the property, but County Planner Ken Muller gave his recommendation to not approve the petition, and he explains why.
The resolution was defeated.
In a separate resolution, the commission approved a Notice of Intent to vacate an unused public right-of-way, Carbon Hill Road, a.k.a. Beckton Hall Road.
