John Taft Talks New SAGE Exhibit

John W. Taft: Bighorns and Beyond is currently on exhibit in the SAGE Community Arts Gallery in Sheridan and it features 20 new oil works by coloradan artist John Taft. The artworks feature landscapes that will be familiar to many and some that will be a little less recognizable to those less traveled according to Taft. 

Taft’s methods range from on site painting to research and photo taking. Although he mainly works with landscapes, Taft originally thought he would be a portrait painter. Patrons will have a chance to view and purchase the original works in this show from now through January 18 during the regular gallery hours at SAGE on Main Street.
