Commissioners Looking to Help Make Courthouse Intersection Safer

The intersection of Brooks and Burkitt next to the Sheridan County Courthouse has been a problem area for pedestrian traffic over the years. Sheridan County Commissioner Nick Siddle said that the commissioners and Sheridan City officials are in talks to remedy that problem.

Both streets are owned and managed by the City of Sheridan. No new action has been scheduled to be taken at this point but Commissioner Siddle said that they will keep brainstorming ideas to make that intersection safer for pedestrians.
