Variance to Build in Landslide Area Approved
The Sheridan County Commission considered a variance for a landowner to build structures on a landslide area in Sheridan County.
Craig Stoner has applied for a variance to build on a 6.37-acre property located off of Highway 331 west of Sheridan.
County Planner Mark Reid explained further.
Commissioner Terry Cram said he was originally opposed to the variance, but after looking at the requirements for the engineering design, he decided to vote to allow it.
Commission Chair Nick Siddle spoke in favor as well.
The commission voted unanimously to allow the variance.
