Aaron PalmerThe University of Wyoming held the latest “The World Needs More Cowboys” event at the Cowboy Carousel Center in Buffalo Monday night, featuring local speaker Alumnus Brett McCoy, who is the Sales Representative for Zoetis Inc.
According to the UW website, McCoy has a Bachelor’s degree in animal science and is a Wyoming LEAD Program participant, a member of the Buffalo Golf Club, and on the Wyoming Livestock Genetics Association and UW Alumni Association boards. He is also a YMCA Y-Partners Campaign co-chair and a Future Cattle Producers of Wyoming adviser.
In his speech, he said there is no better recruiting resource than the “World Needs More Cowboys” campaign, and explained why the University of Wyoming is a special place.
Also at the event was UW President Ed Seidel, who spoke with Sheridan Media on a number of topics, and we will have more on that conversation in upcoming stories.
There will be another “The World Needs More Cowboys” event Tuesday night in Sheridan at the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center from 5 to 6:30.
