Story Woman’s Club Will Not Hold Annual Turkey Dinner This Year

The Board of Trustees for the Story Woman’s Club recently voted to not hold their annual turkey dinner next month due to concerns over COVID-19. Board Member Robin Lemm said it was a tough decision, but one that had to be made to help keep the community safe.

The event was scheduled to take place Sunday, October 10 at the Story Woman’s Club. Lemm said they are continuing to sell raffle tickets and the winner of the 50/50 raffle will be chosen at 3 pm on October 10. Lemm added that there is a chance the turkey dinner may be rescheduled for early next year if the COVID situation calms down.
