City to Seek Grant Writing Consultant
The City of Sheridan intends to advertise for the services of a grant writing consultant to aid staff in applying for grants, in particular grants associated with the American Rescue Plan Act. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
City Public Works Director Lane Thompson, at a recent Council study session, requested the City seek the services of a grant writing consultant and ultimately enter into a professional services contract to pursue grant funding.
Thompson talked about Coal Communities Commitment funding through the Economic Development Authority.
The professional services agreement for a grant writing consultant would be not to exceed $35,000. Once a consultant is chosen, the professional services agreement would be brought to the City Council for their consideration.
