Buffalo VFW Post to Hold 9/11 Ceremony

The 20^th anniversary of the attack on the United States on 9/11/2001 is this year, and the Buffalo VFW post will be having a commemorative ceremony on Saturday, September 11^th.

VFW Post 2469 will have the ceremony that morning to honor those lost in the attacks in 2001.

The ceremony will begin downtown at 9am as the VFW Color Guard presents the Colors in recognition of past and present first responders.

A release from the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce said, “September 11^th National Day of Service and Remembrance (9/11 Day) is a chance to help others in tribute to those killed and injured on September 11^th, 2001, first responders and countless others who serve to defend the nation’s freedoms at home and around the globe. September 11^th, 2021 is the 20^th Anniversary of that tragic day.”

All residents and guests are welcomed and encouraged to attend this moment of remembrance.
