SCLT Discovery Session: Beckoning Frontiers scheduled for Sept. 8, at historic Sheridan Inn

The Sheridan Community Land Trust is inviting the public to the next SCLT Discovery Session: Beckoning Frontiers – The Entrepreneur and The Promoter. 

According to the SCLT, Historian for the Buffalo Bill Center of the West Jeremy Johnston will tell the story of how the founder of Beckton and a Sheridan banker worked with Buffalo Bill Cody to promote irrigation projects and develop communities west of the Bighorns.  

This Discovery Session will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the historic Sheridan Inn. There is no cost to attend. Dessert and coffee will be supplied by Andi’s Coffee and Bakery at 6 p.m. 

Program begins at 6:30 p.m. Limited seating available, so SCLT is asking to please RSVP. Attendees are asked to use the ballroom entrance from the front porch. Funding for this Discovery Session is provided by the Wyoming Humanities Council.
