Sheridan Commission Approves Grant Amendment
An amendment to extend a grant award was brought before the Sheridan County Commission for their consideration at this week’s meeting.
County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller said it was necessary to extend the county’s Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness (HMEP) grant through September 30th, 2022 and explained why.
According to the grant amendment, the county will contribute nearly $7,200 in matching funds, bringing the total amount to be used for the training to just under $36,000.
The commission voted to approve the extension.
