The Buffalo City Council, at their Tuesday meeting, voted to award the contract for the Buffalo Wells Project to 307 Wildcat Well Service of Buffalo.

The project is explained further by Cody Wyatt with WWC Engineering.

The contract amount is for just under $91,000, while the engineer’s estimate was roughly $176,000.

Work is expected to begin in 4 to 6 weeks, after materials are delivered for the project.

The remaining phase of the project, Phase III, will be the building of the pipeline from the wells to the city water treatment plant, which will go to bid in the spring of 2022.

The entire project was two-thirds funded by the Wyoming Water Development Commission, and one-third by the City of Buffalo.
