FFA Member Addresses Sheridan County Commissioners

During their recent meeting the Sheridan County Commission heard a presentation form Jhett West, Chapter Vice-President of the Sheridan High School FFA Chapter.

Kassi Bernhardt, FFA Advisor for Sheridan High School, introduced West, who recited the FFA Creed, and this is a portion of his recital.

According to ffa.org, the creed was written by E.M. Tiffany and adopted at the Third National FFA Convention. It was revised at the 38th and 63rd Conventions.

West is a sophomore at SHS and will be competing in the Creed Speaking Contest at the preliminary round August 27th and if he does well will move on to the National Competition in Indianapolis in September.
