There will be local artisans and growers, live music and pulled pork sandwiches at the first Clearmont Farmer’s Market hosted by the Clearmont Community Center, on Saturday, Aug 21 from 10-3 in Branding Iron Park.
Amy Rowe, Clearmont Community Center board, said that as of Monday they had several vendors, Sagewood Mill and Critters with alpaca wool and crafts; Michelle Havenga, who specializes in whimsical artwork; Brenda Kussaba with Steampunk Artwork; the Clearmont Historic Group, with area history books; and several other booths.
Vendors are urged to bring their own tables, and the Clearmont Community Center can loan folding tables if needed.
The Community Center will provide the pulled pork sandwiches, but participants are urged to bring potluck sides. Booths are free and there is still space available. Call Amy Rowe, 307-752-5079.
